Yard Duty in the
morning begins at 8:20 a.m. Please do not allow your child to arrive
before 8:20 am as there is no supervision on the yard. When the bell rings we will teach the
children where to line up on the yard.
Once we are assembled, we will walk as a class and enter our classroom
through our outside door. Please try to be on time and honor our request to
line up on the yard. If your child is
late to school please do not knock on our outside door. You will need to go to the office and get a
late pass.
At dismissal, parents and caregivers should meet their child at the back door. Daycare children will stay with us until personnel come to pick them up. If you are late to pick up your child you will need to pick him/her up at the office since we do not allow the children to remain in the yard unattended.
At the end of the kindergarten school day we ask you to leave campus and not stay and play on the playground. You may return at the end of the regular school day. Also, when the lid is on the sand box and it is closed, please do not allow students/siblings to open and play in it as we try to keep sand off the pavement for safety reasons. Please help us teach respect to the children by following our school rules.
If it is raining upon arrival, please come directly to the classroom at 8:20. If it is misty, please check outside. If there is a teacher on duty, we will be outside.
